1. Power On:
   • Turn on the caliper using the power button. Ensure the display reads “0.00” before beginning.
2. Zero Setting:
   • Close the jaws and press the zero/reset button to calibrate the caliper for accurate measurements.
3. Measuring Internal Dimensions:
   • Open the small inner jaws and position them inside the object. Adjust until the jaws touch both sides, and read the measurement on the digital display.
4. Measuring External Dimensions:
   • Use the larger outer jaws to measure the object’s width or diameter. Ensure a firm grip for accurate readings.
5. Measuring Depth:
   • Extend the depth gauge rod by sliding the scale, then place the caliper over the object to measure its depth.
6. Switch Units:
   • Use the mm/inch button to toggle between metric and imperial units as needed.
7. Record Measurements:
   • Take note of the measurements displayed. Use the hold button if the caliper has one to freeze the reading for documentation.
8. Power Off:
   • Turn off the caliper after use to save battery life. Store it in its case to prevent damage.
